Tunisian suicide



Another poverty-stricken Tunisian youth sets self ablaze and became the victim of anti-poor policies of government. Adel Khadri, 27, died like Bouazizi, whose death triggered an unrest and unseated Ben Ali. Khadri's death did not damage the Tunisian government and it has even won the trust vote. But it is high time monarchies and ruling class sit on sovereign wealth think about common man on the streets. When global powers concentrate their attention on power sharing and regime changing plots to get an arms market, who will answer for hunger? Distribution of wealth can give an answer to many questions in the region.

Third wave or Fourth Wave, schools must reopen for preschoolers

  “Mama, when will I go to school with my new tiffin box?” A four-year-old Munnu has been asking this question ever since his nursery was shut following a nationwide shutdown declared on March 23, 2020 due to COVID-19 outbreak. His banker mother had promised to buy a new lunch box when the school re-opens. Munnu is one among thousands of preschool-goers who were confined to their homes ever since the pandemic hit the world. The student community are now back to their schools and colleges now. However, there is not a word on tiny-tots. They have never won the attention of policymakers. Ceasefire NOW: Palestinian lives matter, not Hamas

What a shame the so called international media are even failing to consider Palestinian children as children. Not a word on the condition of released Palestine prisoners and whenever reporters accidentally utter a word about them they cut it short and start describing the medical treatment offered to the hostages at the Israeli hospitals! Not even a mention about unjustifiable detentions of little girls and boys in the jails. Some of the released are children arrested and came out as teenagers and youths. Mediapersons everywhere are failing to maintain the objectivity and neutrality expected from the fourth estate!
